Coaching
1:1 coaching is most valuable when we assess where you are, identify where you want to go, develop a plan to get there, and analyze the step-by-step journey. Do you seek to build and lead a high performing team? Does increasing sales and building a stronger client base appeal to you? Are you passionate about optimizing mission impact? I thrive on engaging with individuals to assess current workplace engagement, identify goals, and design the best route for desired and achievable success.
1:1 coaching makes a powerful difference in a wide range of professional circumstances:
-
You want to take your leadership and career to the next level.
-
You wisely recognize that success in your new role requires an enhanced skill set.
-
You feel stuck where you are and need help getting unstuck.
-
You are gearing up to lead a significant change initiative.
-
You have visible goals, but are unsure how to best navigate the road ahead.
-
You desire to elevate from individual contributor to effective team leader.
What does a coaching program include?
Depending on your goals, a coaching program typically spans 4 to 6 months. Our initial meetings will help us identify your goals and formulate a plan to help you achieve them. From there, we will meet virtually every 2-4 weeks to discuss progress against goals (i.e., what is working and what is getting in the way). In between our working sessions, you will apply learnings from our discussions and make observations to support your coaching goals.
How much does 1:1 coaching cost?
The answer depends on the scope of your goals. I am happy to schedule a call to understand your needs and budget.
Team Development
Diversely sized and staffed organizations often share similar challenges when it comes to identifying and growing talented individuals, building effective teams, navigating transformational changes, and instituting cohesive workplace cultures and mindsets dedicated to achieving mission success. Intentional team development is a crucial element in developing and maintaining passionate, effective, and engaged workplaces, yet too often overlooked and under invested until disunity, discontent, and disconnectedness affect outcome.
High performing teams that instinctively recognize “the total is greater than the sum of its parts” and work together to achieve organizational goals while maintaining their health and the energy needed for the long game are intentionally designed; they do not magically arise and thrive. Effective teams are built over time, through thoughtful planning, and with a commitment to consistency.
I enable organizations to identify their vision for highly effective and exceptionally performing teams. Together, we assess and understand current states of operation and effectiveness to build plans and initiate actions to positively impact behaviors and accountability that achieve their sought visions.
Reasons you may want to discuss a team engagement include:
-
You have a strong team that has accomplished many milestones together, but reaching the next level requires a fresh approach.
-
You are preparing for a transformational change initiative in the organization.
-
You have capable leaders that have not nailed working effectively with their teams.
-
You have team members at different levels of leadership maturity and organizational commitment.
-
Your organization does not have a clear cultural identity.
-
There are too many subcultures at play, sometimes working at cross purposes.
-
Teams execute inconsistently.
Team approaches may include:
-
Individual and team assessments.
-
Individual coaching paired with team coaching.
-
Team workshops to inform and address needs identified in the assessment.
-
Change management education and preparation.
-
Goal setting.
Change Management
According to Harvard Business Review, nearly 70% of all change initiatives fail to meet the intended outcome because organizations too often overlook the most critical and fundamental part of implementing a major change initiative: they do not adequately prepare their team members for the coming changes. They grossly underestimate the amount of time, communication, and preparation needed to successfully execute their change initiative. I equip organizations with change execution guidance to help them successfully navigate the ‘people side’ of change to ensure everyone thrives.

A typical change management engagement may include:
-
A clear and detailed articulation of your change initiative.
-
An assessment of your readiness and capacity for change, and strategies to support gaps.
-
In-depth support and training for your change leaders.
-
Stakeholder mapping.
-
A comprehensive communication strategy for each stakeholder group.
-
A comprehensive risk assessment and mitigation strategy.
